We believe the Holy Scriptures, including the Old Testament and the New Testament, to be without error and authoritative in their revelation, inspiration, and preservation. The Authorized King James Version is accepted, preached, and taught as this source.
We believe the Scripture to reveal God to mankind in His sovereignty and perfection. God is a Trinity revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. These three in one, created all things.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the eternal Word. The Lord Jesus Christ became flesh by the miracle of the virgin birth. He, willingly, took upon Himself the wrath of God and shed His blood on Calvary as the final atonement for man’s sin. He is now at the right hand of the Father.
We believe in the Holy Ghost of God, the third person of the Godhead. He convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgement; and comforts the saved in their walk with God. We are to yield to Him and be taught by Him, the Word of God.
We believe that mankind is in a dead state spiritually. Man is a sinner by nature and by choice. Man is alienated from God and cannot, by his own works, reach God.
We believe in Satan and his attempt to exalt his throne above God’s. He is destined to eternal punishment in the lake of fire. There are many devils working on his behalf.
We believe that salvation is in Jesus Christ and Him alone. Salvation is by grace, plus nothing and minus nothing. Salvation comes to the repentant sinner through faith in Christ. No amount of works will gain salvation for any man.
We believe sanctification starts at conversion and continues until we see Jesus face to face. This process of maturing is hindered by a lack of daily Bible reading and prayer, with confession of sins to God alone.
We believe in separation from the world as a direct command of God. This would include all forms of godlessness, apostasy, compromise, and worldliness. We reject the necessity for political correctness. We believe in morality as taught in the Holy Scriptures and reject man’s idea of morality.
We believe in the pre-millenial and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church. Seven years of tribulation will follow and the Lord Jesus Christ will return in power to reign one thousand years.
We believe in the church, as an organism known in Scripture as the “Bride” and the “Body” of Christ. We also believe the Scripture to teach the establishment of local assemblies with pastors as authoritative, yet compassionate leaders.
